Fuggin new guy
    #11327812 - 10/26/09 09:12 PM (14 years, 5 months ago)

be prying on shit with my screwdrivers. When I tell him he needs to bring the tools he mentions that he has at home, to work, where we work on cars. He laughs. At this point I screamed in his general direction about horses, harley davidson, boats, deer rifles, big ass trucks, and the real punch line two giant tool boxes.

While prying violently with my screwdriver, he tells me of all this he owns.

Anyone know what flux is? Acid. He lays the flux brush right on top of ALLLLL my tools. WTF

Protip: mechanics need tools.

Fuckin cool story huh?

is this a poem?

if not, you may be illiterate. or extremely fucked up.

EDIT: i'll give you the benefit of the doubt and we'll call this a poem.  assuming it was written as a poem ...i kinda like it

I'm a cook, and I sharpen my knife obsessively. It's razor sharp, and gets things cut evenly, quickly, and safely (less pressure = less danger). Imagine my horror when I turned to find someone with seniority to me stabbing the top of a can of olive to form a carb with my knife.

I'd normally straight out flip shit, but I was fairly new on the job, and had to be a little more polite and explain how that's just-fucking-not acceptable.

Yes, i love my tools and "man stuff" as well, and i can tell that your venting, but get a paper bag and breath into it b4 you post like that, unless it was art, and if it was art..shit in the bag and then breath into it for all i care.  If you borrow a tool of mine, i use it for you.  Its a good rule of thumb for me, people like to keep shit that they borrow.

that's really odd.  Most anybody in a kitchen knows how dear a knife is its owner.  I'd have gotten :crankey: with the dude if he was below me on the totem pole.
