I honestly think it's been at least 5 years since I last had a screwdriver.
Just bought a bottle of Smirnoff and a bottle of Simply Orange.
OMG, so delicious. And no caffeine loaded sugary soda as mixers. That's the last thing I need at 11:45pm.
Who else here is a fan of OJ and Vodka?

Absolutely orange juice is my favorite mixer. I rarely mix with anything else unless I'm at a fancy bar or something. I mix it with almost everything. Vodka, tequila, gin, hell, I even put captain morgan in orange juice. Vanilla-y orange juice =

I like mixing my vodka with nothing. But if i had to, OJ is damn good. Also, try 1 part vodka to 3 parts soda water with liberally squeezed orange in it.

I used to be a straight liquor drinker. I'd be the one knocking back shots of Wild Turkey while everyone else refused to drink unless they had something to cut it with or a chaser.
I can't do that any more. I take a shot of pure liquor and instantly my mouth starts watering... And we all know what happens shortly after.
I'm starting to reconsider this whole orange juice thing after chugging 2 glasses of it with about 4 shots of vodka... Man, too much OJ..

its really rare that i mix anything.
when i do drink liquor its usually straight.. no shots though. i want to enjoy what im drinking.

I hear that... Sipping on a glass of 128 proof Bookers used to be my favorite past time.
Something happened along path to alcoholism. My stomach can rarely handle straight liquor any more. Even the whiff of liquor can get me feeling like I need to hurl.
I should have just gotten a 6er of really good beer.

Screwdrivers are great. Not too pussy, but you're not obligated to pound shots either. I wouldn't quite describe it as "classy", but it's a drink I respect. Good times

I haven't had any opiates in like 2 1/2 weeks. On the plus side my hand is healing quite nicely. I still can't make a fist tho. Doc says it will take time to regain full range of motion.

yeah ive had it. not my thing. i dont really do bourbon. i like scotch or cognac or really good tequila (Siembra Azul Blanco being my fav).
although its getting to be a pretty rare occasion when i actually drink liquor anymore. i really love beer a hell of a lot more

I love the beer too. Over the past year my eyes were REALLY opened to all of the good microbrews out there.
I used to think shit like dos equis and blue moon were GOOD beers.
God was I a fucking fool.
