Marijuana definitely makes poetic language flow a lot better. :gethigh:
I like it. Far better than some of the shallow poetry I'd hear classmates create throughout high-school :grin:

my heart grew three times its size.
my body did not know how to handle this.
how to cope with all the burning & the crying and the nervous endings ripped.
my face once used for facing and defacing.
melodies hung out to dry from a dirty mouth to a poor song clothes line.
but now its a blanket stare
just wanting to smile at all the future that it felt.

the hair covering my body now keeps me warm.

have you noticed the way your accent lays inside your head.
how you can dance around any lie until you believe in it.
because I've heard you think, your thoughts you herd like cattle courting

my telepathy is not necessary with you.

My Underwater Torch was beautiful, man.

I loved how it ended. It's a thoughtful piece.

Sunspots, Teethmarks was also a good one. It's deep and that's just how I like 'em.

okay.  what the fuck.  i don't even like poetry, but there's some good shit here.  christ, i was surprised at how much i enjoyed reading these.  meatcake, your rhyme scheme was fun as fuck.  todcasil, i was stricken with thoughts if ee cummings, a poet i actually enjoy.  also, joss whedon ftw.
