I like Coaster personally.  I think he brings a lot of fun to this board.  On the other
hand, he really gets on people's nerves here.

I think it's ridiculous to keep banning him and unbanning him. 

Either perman ban him or not.  Or just keep hee hawing back and forth all the while chipping away at mod credibility.  I think the big thing is that he's not really breaking any major rules by posting a bunch of threads.  At least not explicitly.  Easy fix:  Put a "Coaster Clause" into the Pub Rules : no more than X threads in X hours.  Point out that such a rule exists and then he's got very firm guidlines to follow.
