She didn't really rat him out, it was her husband Todd Skinner who was the rat. He was the one working for the DEA.

She basicaly got caught up in the mess because she was married to a guy who turned rat/DEA informant.

It's not like she married a DEA agent.

She married a guy was involved in disturbiting large amounts of LSD and other drugs. And this guy turned narc/informant once he got busted. He got immunity from the DEA (meaning he wouldn't get charged for ANYTHING) for helping bring down Pickard.

It wasn't NeuroSoup was the rat, it was Skinner.
