You just proved my point.

Had you lived in a small town with an 80% white population, then your initial statement (that I quoted) would have been the opposite. Likewise, if you lived in a city with a diverse & more even mixing of all the different ethnic backgrounds, then you'd see that the violence is pretty much even across the board.
