I don't know how they pulled this off, but it's pretty cool watching the chicken go through the stages of development.

it was a bunch of different embryos in various stages of development.  those yolks are in petri dishes, not a frying pan.

So what your saying then is that they cracked open the eggs at different stages rather than somehow transferring it to a clear container?

the first egg is in a frying pan.  each subsequent one is a different embryo in a petri dish on top of a dark surface.  if you look through some of the photos, you can see the clear wall of the dish.

actually, it looks like the first 4 or so are actually cooking.  but after that the white part of the egg goes back to clear, so i would assume those eggs are no longer on heat.

Yeah, I understand that it's in some kind of clear container. I just assumed at first that they had somehow managed to remove the embryo from a single egg without damaging it.

What your saying makes a lost more sense though...although it is less cool now:crazy:
