Adderall Prescriptions..
    #11112023 -

How difficult is it to obtain one? Would I have to see a psychiatrist or will a general doctor prescribe it to me?
Also, what is the process involved in this?

I'd answer your question but there are too many factors involved and you may or may not be retarded.

Google "ADD" or "Adult ADD" for your area....there are clinics that specialize in it.  Thats what they do.

We have only to follow the thread of the hero path, and where we had thought to find an abomination, we shall find a god; where we had thought to slay another, we shall slay ourselves; where we had thought to travel outward, we shall come to the center of our own existence. And where we had thought to be alone, we shall be with all the world.

General doctor will prescribe it because psychiatrists are too expensive and dont take insurance most the time.  But if you don't tell them you were diagnosed with it before then they might want to refer you to a psychologist or psychiatrist for a diagnosis first.

Thank you.
I appreciate the advice helpful members gave me.
Other people in this thread, not so much.

IDK if that will help.

First tell him you had Ritalin in the past and it was useless.
This convinced my DR. i was diagnosed with ADD in the past, he never checked (or could't check.)
Also don't go in for adderall, go in and ask for a physical, and some nice expensive blood work.
Explain that you didnt trust your previous Dr. and you were sick alot last year with mild colds etc. (nothing too serious.)

I just went in and explained my symptoms: (real)
Drive past a freeway exit i know well.
Antecedently drive to old places i used to live instead of my current place.
two year trend of grades dropping.
Simple tasks at work seem to get fucked up a lot more.
general diversions take over relating internet message boards or shiny things i see.

do not say:
you cant stay awake
You need it to study
You take other drugs
Your prone to addiction
you want it because it helps your friends.

Google has thousands of pages for it

Yeah, sounds like you are just a lazy bum.

Yep, as you probably already guessed, there isn't any central database of medical records.
