mono tub question

My tub has taken off beautifully, I have one question however. There is one or two BIG shrooms that came up first and are about to start dropping spores soon. Should I open it up and get them out of there or wait on the rest of their friends to catch up and just harvest all at once.

harvest when ready, thers no reason to wait to harvest all at once. If the large shrooms are going to take any of the smaller imature ones with it, you can simply cut the cap off and let the rest catch up.

I'd suggest waiting till the veil tears, the caps open up and you start to see spores dropping and take a few prints of those.

if its going to be too long before the rest of the flush, id say twist and pluck those.  But if it is just 2 or 3 days behind, i say let it get overmature and dont worry about it

Personally I like to print the first "clusters" that come up, as opposed to the first giants.

If the ready mushrooms are part of clusters or have pins around the bottom, you can use really sharp scissors to cut them with no harm.
