i fi had that much money I would retire. be thankful. i have 400 bucks in my bank account. rich fuck

How can I retire on that?  I'd blow through it in a couple of years and then I would be back to where I am now.  I'm still not rich.  Nowhere near it.  I am still solid middle class with some cash in the bank.  Some cash in the bank that I don't know what to do with.  I already have pretty much everything I want.

Retire on 125k.  :ilold:
Where? In Nigeria? Yeah, for some of the 15 year olds around these forums that kind of money must seem like a lot. I make quite a bit more than that in two years and I am still not living a life of luxury.

Invest it wisely. 125 grand can multiply. Especially if you don't need the money now. IDK how old you are, that sort of money might not be enough to retire right now, but if you put it on the right horse you might never have to work again 15-20 years from now and I assume that you'll still be young enough to actually enjoy a decent standard of living and no need to enslave yourself for anyone then. It's what I'd do.

I just have to figure out what the right horse is.  Buy a bunch of stock and wait?  This sucks.  I have no fucking clue.

I think it would be nice, but if that's close to your annual salary/income, 125k is definitely not going to be life changing.

$125,000 isn't really that much money. It's a good start at a retirement fund but don't start spending like you're rich or it will be gone before you know it.

save it. put it in a high interest account and you might be able to retire earlier. or take up motorcycle racing and get famous.

I inherited about 50,000 last year. I bought some cool shit I wanted/needed, electronics and what not. I paid off my car, and paid taxes, and used the rest to have some fun. This was in may, by august I was broke.

Tax time rolled around, and after giving 10% automatically, I still owed 5 grand more federally.

Not that any of this matters, but it goes quick! I would probably invest in some sort of business if I was to do it again.

$125k is not really enough to change someones life, other than to allow them to blow it on some shit and waste it. most people have no idea what to do with money or how to invest it.

i make around 60-100k every month, if i inherited any money i would invest it in my current business.

oh and you get 4 vacations a year and all you do are gay ass carnival cruises? lol that sounds horrible bro.

I said most people would blow it off and waste it, not every one, jackass. you would probably do the same thing, though.

Ohhhhh I made your butt hurt!  Grow up.

Also, Considering I have made alot for myself out of nothing, I'd say that money could only add to my empire.

Hmm.  "gay ass carnival cruises?" I get a gorgeous suite with a balcony which overlooks some of the most beautiful ports in the world - Egypt, Rome, Turkey, the Caribbean islands, Alaska, New Zealand, Tokyo, and the Greek isles.  I visit exotic locations and explore new lands.  I eat lobster, filet mignon, and drink a bottle of wine for dinner each night with my wife.  I am treated like a fucking king with free room service 24/7 and every damn worker on that boat caters to my every whim.

I don't know what you are doing for your vacations, but doing this four times a year is fucking awesome!

i just don't like such structured vacations, im a bit more adventurous, i suppose.

also, when i visit our countries, i dont want to be on a huge boat with a bunch of other stupid ass tourists. i like to mingle with the people in the country im visiting and blend in.

Lets go into business together.  I need some funding to get off the ground, the company would be a tech company and we would make a new type of electronics I have created

First off you should invest 1/4 of it in gold to save and bury somewhere.

Take the rest and put it on pause for a bit until you truly realize what you desire that dosent require money .  Than take the money and spend it on nothing more that will help you reach your desires. Then your one step closer to help changing the world.

Have fun!

Uhh gold doesn't even beat inflation on average. That's probably the worst way to store money. Houses on the other hand beat inflation and appreciate nearly 10% annually. Get a house or plot of land if you just want to 'store' the money.
