I used to be a beer manager at Reno's largest liquor store.  I have to admit I don't have a specific Favorite beer, I have favorite beers of different styles, but they often change.  I love all sorts of beers however I'm a little shy on sweeter lager style beers (and mexican beers), I prefer hoppier profiles of pales and IPAs or deeper roastier profiles of stouts and porters, or the rich taste of browns and ambers.  :smile:

i've never tried it, but i've heard the double chocolate stout is fantastic. i'm a big fan of stouts anyway. i love pretty much anything sammy smith makes.

if you've never tried it, give fat tire a try. its wonderful.

None now, I quit drinking . . . BUT as recently as a couple of months ago I drank a shitload.

My absolute favorite was Amnesia Desolation but I have only seen that in keg form. It is an insanely good unfiltered IPA. Just thinking about the taste makes me want to start drinking again.

Then
Deschutes Inversion
  then maybe Lagunitas IPA
  then a ton of great northwestern/western IPAs and some non-IPAs

I talked a liquor store near me into buying some, they got about 30 cases
and sold them as singles, they were sold out within the week so I only got
to try 3 different styles

Pyramid makes a pretty good Apricot beer.  They are too sweet to sit around and drink a 6-pack though.  Better as a dessert beer.

I had the privilege of working in a specialty beer store here on campus for about 6 months. Wasn't supposed to, but I would take a different 6-pack home with me every night. It was epic.
