Recently the local bottleshop got a "beers around the world" section.

Got a Chimay Tripel 750ml (cinq cents) a few weeks back.



5 standards in a bottle, soo tasty but definitely goes to your head.

In addition to the DT, I picked up my first "quadruple" trappist monk beer, 10% alc/V, 500ml in a ceramic stubbie :vaped:

A simply amazing beer. A malty Scottish ale aged in used oak bourbon barrels, transforming this ale into a remarkably unique brew. Prominent caramel/toffee flavours, undertones of citrus, fairly malty and a distinctive vanilla finish, and a wide realm of "sweeter" tastes, all balanced so esquisitely that it still delivers a pleasantly dry ale without any muddling of it's many tones and flavours. Best beer I have ever had.  :drooling:

Hard to find, but please, for the love of all things half-way decent, put some effort into procuring a half dozen bottles. No beer goes better with chronic, either, I once had a bag of weed that (fresh) smelled almost exactly the same as the beer. Lounging on my back porch with three bottles of this, two joints of said herb, and my guitar was possibly the best hour of my life. Sensory overload.
