Umm... 4th of July was 2 months ago...

But I guess it's always fun to blow shit up.

We used to have lots of fun in High School with Roman Candle Wars. We would drive around our neighborhood and shoot them out of our car windows at each other. So stupid, but yet so fun. Just think what would happen if you hit the driver in the eye with a Roman Candle...

Dr :ronpaul: says to stop trying to treat the side-effects of big government and focus on the core issues. End the Federal Reserve/audit the gold reserves at Fort Knox, abolish the IRS, end all wars and occupancies, stop the building of an empire that will inevitably fail, and cut all unconstitutional federal programs. Put the power back in the peoples' hands by ending this nanny-state.

I made a rocket launcher out of a steel pipe, for bottle rockets.

It had a little vent shield about 5 inches in a square near the front, so when the bottle rocket came out, the sparks would slap you in the face.

Load em in the back, aim and light.
Fun shit.

Dude you should buy some mortars. Those things are awesome. The initial boom of the launch charge going off is almost cooler than the areal display.

Oh, I got a mortar by accident! I thought it was individual tubes, but it's six rounds and a launcher.
Here it is: http://www.blackcatfireworks.com/p-494-black-box-artillery-shell.aspx
Eight bucks!

I got an assortment of firecrackers, and several kinds of rockets. And roman candles. And a free gross of bottle rockets for buying over $35!
The girl working was so cute I could have just bought the entire store. Cute to look at and cute in her enthusiasm, she clearly enjoys fireworks.

Cheyenne, WY. I guess most of the girls are white.

But I wonder if they are all fireworks freaks? She really seemed into the whole thing- not just a job for her, y'know.

haha! Just the other week, I bought some fireworks with my friends.
I put the mortar in the tube and held it with my fingers; kinda like a roman candle. BAD FUCKING IDEA!
By the time my friends saw me holding the tube, the kick-back from the blast hyper-extended my fingers to ungodly lengths of pain.
owww....
Myk

What about M80's and Cherry Bombs? Get the roman candle that shoots M80's if you can find them. Only seen em once.

Otherwise, mortars all the way!

Lol I love how the INSTANT you cross the WY border, you're overcome with tacky billboards and oddly-colored warehouses  We lit off dynamite and threw them out the window on the drive back  It's great. The freeway suddenly becomes so much more...abandoned near wyoming. No cars to worry about freaking out.

Same thing in Missouri- as soon as you get out of Kansas, there you go with the signs. Little farther drive though.

But the 'fireworks zone' is pretty funny too- three stores all next to each other.
But Black Cat is the best- that's gotta be the store everybody shops at. I bet the other guys get jealous.

Haha that's what I'm saying

Now all you gotta do is track down the 5-10 inch diameter mortars they use for professional shows.
