for you aphex twin fans

so i have a theory as to why aphex twin calls himself just that...keep in mind i was really stoned when i came up with it.

ok so aphex maybe is a play on apex and effects together like he is at the top of making musical effects and twin is because he combines that fast drum and bass beats with slower more ambient melodies at the same time. in almost every song i find that there you can either be raging really hard to the fast beat or slowing moving along to the slower melody

what do you guys think about this?

aphex is a brand of professional, very high quality sound systems that he uses, and his twin brother died at birth. hence, aphex twin. sorry to bust your bubble.
