no kenpo is the best karate their is.

i went to my school's jujitsu club with my friend and this little asian girl no more than 5 feet tall was trying to spar my friend who's 5'11 185 friend. i've yet to encounter hot martial arts chicks, just thought i would share. :cheers:

no i do know about other kinds of karate i just feel kenpo is the most complete. they are all based after kenpo more or less its kinda hard to explain

It's always nice getting to train with some hot chicks. I train in Aikido, and we do a lot of in close training, so I really don't mind practicing with hot girls.

Not really, katate dates back to something like the 14th or 15th century, where as American and Hawaiian kenpo, kenpo karate, and kempo all emerged in the 20th century. I had to study it as a kid.

Keep at it if you're enjoying it, but just be careful not to get caught up in the bullshit.

see kenpo as we know it really is more of an eclectic martial art in that it largely comes from just a history of stuff and a system dating back to last century that had that name.

the karate name was used because it makes the most sense to people so the name they give it today of karate has three types that i know of, it depends on the definition of kenpo or karate.
