Premature Morning Glory Experiment-Dose.

ok well after doing a bit of searching through some old threads here on shroomery and a bit of other off-site reading ive found quite a few people who suggest harvesting MG seeds a bit premature if you plan on ingesting them so you dont have to digest the hard shell and all that crap. Considering i have an insane amount of MG's growing nearby i decided to do an experiment. heres what i did..

Went out and clipped off a decent amount of premature seed pods...


Peeled all the green leafy parts away until i had just pods..


Carefully peeled away the outer layer of the pods and picked every seed carefully out..




Diced em up..


Cold water extraction.. (considering these are fresh and still kind of soft i didnt think a full defat and everclear extraction was necessary.)




Let sit for about 35 minutes, then filter to get this..




Then i mixed it with some juice and drank. I also consumned the seed matter that i filtered out of the water by mixing it with some food.

this all took place just now so ill be back in a little with an update on the effects. :thumbup:

Is that enough seeds? I personally need about 150+ to even remotely feel anything.

......and wait?

Why did you consume the seeds as well?

The whole point of the CWE is so you don't have to eat the seeds and to avoid nausea.

well its been a good 45 minutes now.

i feel a nice sort of glow but its quite mellow, no visuals to speak of really.

everythings a bit more vibrant.

no body load at all.

i can see this beeing really good but unfortunatley i think i underdosed.:sad:

it took me like an hour to peel all those pods and im feeling to relaxed and stoned to peel more today.

Ive got plenty of seeds left though, so i think ill give this another go tomorrow.

for now i feel pretty nice.

the ganja is at least bringing out what little effects there is from the LSA.

maybe next time...:shrug:

well yes thats generally the point when using the store bought or fully dried seeds, but these like i said are still nice and soft and premature so i wasn't worried about any nausea.

The reason i did both CWE and ate them is because i dint like to waste lol and i actually wasn't planning on it, i just said "fuck it" and threw them in my chicken pot pie :vaped:

i just thought i would mention it in the post so it was accurate.

i wasn't sure if there were going to be any changes in LSA content in these premature seeds as apposed to fully dried. so i went low on purpose but it wasn't necessary. the LSA content seems to be the same, but the bright side of this premature method is there was absolutely zero nausea,cramps,discomfort like i normally find with the Burpee brand seeds i buy from the store.

It may be a better way to dose higher...who knows. :shrug:

like i said ill give it another go tomorrow probably, only doubling the dose if not more...

Morning glory is particularly finicky about tolerance...I'd wait at least 3 days, personally. It's worth a shot, but don't be surprised if you don't even get 1/3 the effect of whatever dose you take. But don't take too much either because that could be risky. You could always chock it up to a tolerance experiment...you never know you might get a pretty decent effect if you use enough, but if a ton of seeds doesn't do much, that would be a big reason why. Just fyi, based on much experimentation with MG.

ok cool well thanks for the advice. ill definatley take it and give it a few days. this will give me time to seprate all those little fuckers and extract them.

btw- im feeling really good right now, but its no more than that. im realizing i just wayy under dosed. when i normally do LSA extractions (ether/alcohol) from dry seeds i use like 400-500 for one dose. I just wanted to play it safe cuz i didnt know what to expect from these more fresh completely untreated seeds.

im excited to see how it works out.

You didn't use nearly enough seeds dude. If you are feeling anything at all it's weed and placebo.

BTW; I don't recommend just doubling the dose. LSA has insane tolerance issues (from personal experience)

However I am confused what you are trying to do..

Are you trying to get HIGH or are you trying to trip?

BTW; You didn't eat NEARLY enough seeds to start feeling nauseous (especially because you ate and you were high...).

Also, cramps and other bodily issues is normally occured at an ACTUAL dosage not at a dosage that is placebo.

Sorry to break yer buttons but I am going to have to say this is a failed experiment..

lol of course its failed. i already said that.

and i didnt smoke until well after i consumned the seeds. and it was one bowlpack.

theres a good 100 seeds sitting right there. and like i said im bareley feeling shit, but i can tell i took the seeds, its not placebo. my normal dose is like 300 seeds.

anyways, im gona give it another go in a few days like i said.

fail for now, but damn why you gotta be so negative.

I agree about not using enough, but strongly disagree with the placebo thing...you can stick your finger in a morning glory concoction, and get some definite effects, albeit very subtle...it's nothing major by any means, just definitely not placebo
