or it may piss of the people that have had to clean up the mess he created

it's obvious that his efforts backfired because his spamming got him more
bad ratings from people that rarely leave bad ratings... consider the
repercussions of a hundred support tickets before you make the first

trying to help someone isnt the issue, that could have been done without
spamming every forum with threads about 'helping', what he did was
increase the load on the mods and admins, as mods we are here to serve the
community but we are members first and foremost, just like everyone else
we want to enjoy the site, it makes it impossible to do so if I have to
spend a couple hours deleting junk and it certainly doesnt help the
administration to maintain and modify this board to make it as great as
it is

the admins spend a load of time implementing new features, tuning the
usability and just keeping the site running properly, for him to be so
inconsiderate to the rest of this community as to pull them away to
assist the mods in this task is frighteningly sad, so while he's
'helping' one person, he's hurting others

I understand the reasoninf for the ban and I was about to slap him with
one myself but I was beat to it, while the duration is much longer than
I would have issued in this instance I wont say it's completely
unwarranted or even unfair for the reasons outlined above

Woow, you guys were talking about 80 days, or something, but it actually seems, that he got banned for 6 months!
That's really overreacting it, IMO.

Pris, I understand where you coming from,
and it's interesting to see things from your POV.

With this in mind I don't question that the ban was justified or not, but the duration is really uncalled for extreme for this type of offense...
