Ticket Pickin'
    #6010195 - 08/30/06 12:15 AM (14 years, 8 months ago)

i had a fun day.
they are running the scratch ticket scam again, lol.
washington state lottery puts out these coupons in the junk mailer, to every mailbox in washington.
each coupon is worth 5 dollars worth of state scratch tickets.
so i spent the day driving around to huge apartment complexes, and next to the mailboxes area is always a garbage can where everyone dumps their junk mail.
and nobody cares about the dumb 5 bucks.

but i can pick out 20-30 coupons from each waste bin.
and after 6 hours of doing that i've got almost a thousand tickets
at 5 bucks a pop

plus, y never know, i could win the mega millions

these coupons run every couple months and i'm hip to it

each time i make a few hundred dollars
it reminds me of hunting mushrooms only it's ticket pickin'

so far i've only won about 40 bucks
but i only cashed in a few tickets

tomorrow i'll spend the day hunting coupons
scratchin' tickets
and
winnin' money

also it rained its ass off today
a major downpour
so while i'm drivin' apartment complexes and 7-11 stores, i can check for mushroom activity and kill two birds with one stone

That is some incredible shit right there. I wish they gave out those ticket things here. We used to do that stuff when Caribou Coffee sent out free drink coupons.

In such times as ours however, when there is too much order, too much m management, too much programming and control, it becomes the duty of superior men and women and women to fling their favorite monkey wrenches into the machinery. To relieve the repression of the human spirit, they must sow doubt and disruption"

Just be careful...messing with people's mail is a federal offense.

Sounds sweet though I wish them had those here.

i don't think so...
all i'm doing is picking out the yellow coupon sheet from the waste paper basket in the hallway
technically once the junk mail has been disposed of, it doesn't have their name on it, it's not theirs, it's garbage. it's just a coupon sheet nobody wants.

today i won 80 bucks
no mushrooms poppin' up yet though, i can tell you that much,
except for those delicate cream colored liberty cap look-alikes-
i haven't found liberty caps in seattle for 10 years.

first the ringers pop up, and once you find one, you know their out there everywhere
then come the bayos
and finally cyans

ticket pickin' is just like shroom pickin'
in seattle they're everywhere, you just drive around, and every mile you'll find somethin'

it's funny too
sometimes they'll be a huge patch with like a dry pound of ringers just sitting there in front of the burgerking
or parking lot beauty bark or something
and it's kinda dangerous to try pickin' it.
BUT HOW CAN YOU JUST LEAVE THEM?
:mushroom2:
lol
i managed it

i like secret mammoth cyan patches, that are all secluded and nobody would ever find, and you can just pick at your leisure.

it's not their garbage can, it's a waste paper bin put there by the apartment complex, it's one bin, shared by everyone.

in a huge apartment complex, they have a place where each person has a mailbox

it is where everybody goes to check the mail
beside it is usually a waste paper basket

everyday in the mail you get what is called Junk Mail
it has no address on it, or name
it just gets sent to everyone in the whole region
it has pizza coupons, and shows you what's on sale at the grocery store-

each person opens the box, and pulls out the mail, they keep the letters, their bills and shit, but everybody throws away the stupid mailer because nobody reads that, do they?

i hate the junk mail and wish it wasn't in there
and each day i throw mine in the waste paper bin just like everybody else.

except when the lottery coupons come

then you'll notice all these bright yellow coupons in the waste paper bin
so you pick em out, big deal

it's over with now anyway
today i only found a few

i'll win the megamillions on friday
