im excited about this phone coming out, i also am not ultra fond of iPhone, though they are pretty cool...i just recently switched over to at&t though, but got the xenon over the iphone...

That thing aint too bad looking. I like the sliding keyboard as I text quite a bit, but it looks a little too big. I'd rather something more simple and smaller, yet sleek and sexy.

I'm waiting for the Hero as well.  Rumors are an Oct. 11th release (like 7-8 weeks for those counting).

Although I am teetering toward the Palm Pre. 

Apparently the build quality issues that plagued the initial units have been resolved.

The one thing that prevents me from getting the Pre is the keyboard? Why must they make it slide out from the bottom and not the side? It makes the keyboard so cramped that for people with large hands like me, it's practically impossible to use. Why they decided upon this I've no idea but it just seems like a design flaw to me.
