Reishi?
    #10834384 -

I saw these growing on an old stump while walking around my parents property. They look like reishi to me but I have about zero knowledge when it comes to identifying. I didn't bring them home but I got a couple of pictures.

What do you think?

The stump of which this specie is fruiting seems as though it may be a conifer specie which would lead to the fungi potentially being the Hemlock Varnish Shelf (Gonoderma tsugae).  Are you able to determine the type of stump upon which this fungi resides?  Good luck!

This might actually be Fomitopsis pinicola. They can look quite similar at this stage of growth. You can tell by getting a spore print or seeing what color the pores bruise.
