Are you using 1/2 pint jars?

Full pint are a bitch b/c it takes so long to colonize, it's easy for the cakes to contam.

Dude, just try again. Try with smaller batches and be very careful of contaminants. It's easier than pot, and just sticking to "grown herb" is STONER TALK!

Just grow edible shrooms. It's a lot more fun and rewarding. (Not to mention legal.) That's what I do.

Also if everything is legit, you can ask local vendors and things for hookups because you won't be afraid to openly talk about your fungi! Most small shops will take an interest in your hobby because it's out of the ordinary and will work with you to get you supplies, etc.

There's nothing wrong with growing edibles, but come on dude, it has very little to do with growing psilocybin mushrooms.

That's like if I told someone I was looking for some acid, and he told me "Just grow some brocolli".

If you grow a lot, you can even sell them at the farmer's market and meet a lot of cool people who will think it's really awesome you grow mushrooms. :smile:

You sir, are a fucking moron.
Edibles and actives grow the same and some even in the exact same conditions. Take any mushroom edible or not from the tropical regions and they will grow just like P. Cubensis. Acid and broccoli are completely different.

Thank you. LOl. Very interesting and strong opinions here. I've actually dicided not to give up on growing mushrooms and thanks for the thought's. Now as for growing edibles vs. cube's actually thats a very good ideal. I didn't really get into growing simply for the high. I started cause i am major Bord and needed a new hobby and something new to grow (I garden and grow for fun) so yes the ed ideal isn't bad though i was pretty excited to also have some nice trippy mushroom's. So who know's i'm going to give the cube's another go and look in to the ed's i can see how being able to ask for help from my local shop's could be very benifical! and hey once i get the ed's down and have the basic's i can always whip up a batch of magic's.

LOL i had 1 pint of PE in a big ziploc bag. I was having issues with it not pinning. Well i guess my dog realized this and grabbed the bag off the counter. He then proceeded to rip the bag open. I was so pissed at him. Well yesterday after i woke up and looked at the bag. What do ya know there was pins in it. Guess it just needed some more fae and so my dog took care of it...

Ive yet to grow a pot plant that got over 2 inches tall.
I have a great success rate when it comes to mushrooms.
