Trazodone (100mg Tablets)

I got a script for these a couple of months ago. 1 Trazodone makes (3) 10mg Diazepam tab's seem like Pez candy.

Anyway, tonight I decided to try plugging a Trazodone to make it hit hard and fast (since on a full stomach, they don't really work).

Well, that was 45 minutes ago and I feel nothing!

WTF??? :confused:

Dude, Trazodone is nothing like benzo's. It's a sedating antidepressant that leaves one of the nastiest hangovers I've ever had from a pill.

Don't even compare it to Valium, it's nowhere near the same.

And don't stick antidepressants up your ass. Something about that just doesn't seem right.

Probably, but the Traz does me in BIGTIME on an empty stomach with an alcohol buzz. (Which I have now).

Did I not shove it in far enough? (1- 1.5 inches)

Yeah, they do affect me when I wake up... Just as bad as a 2mg Clonazepam.

Still, plugging a pill that potent should work, no?

You wouldn't feel 20 mg of valium if you just ate em? Combined with a enough drinks it should put you to sleep, even on a relatively full stomach. Or do you have a high tolerance?

Traz knocks some people out I have seen it. I don't know about plugging I've never stuck anything up my ass but if it works it works. I'm gonna try it soon.

I've built a tolerance to Diazepam. It takes 40mg with 4 beers to make me drowsy on an empty stomach.

I just ate a large dinner 2 hours ago... Eating any pill(s) would be a waste.

If they're prescription why don't you just ask the doc to switch it to Alprazolam or Clonazepam or something even more potent. Benzo addiction?

I just didn't wait long enough... When I eat 'em on an empty stomach with alcohol, I'm asleep in 30-40 min's... This took 90, but it's working...
