What's the deal with this salvia?

I feel like this is the motherload of all hallucinagenics...All I hear about how crazy it is and what a horrifying time one has. Like an LSD and Shroom trip all squeezed into a 5 minute time span to totally overwhelm you...
Can someone explain this powerful drug, and why it is so powerful?

little is known about exactly how salvia does what it does. what I do know about it is that it acts on your seretonin receptors. i've done it several times, from 5x extract all the way to 120x purple sticky. the only time i had a decent experience was the first time i did it, and took 2 FAT ass gravity bongs of 20x. it was still a mindfuck and fairly scary. if your looking for something with this kind of "rip you out of reality" effect, but doesn't suck ass, you need to extract you some DMT.

first its not that powerful as plane leaves. so its the extract of the plant that rock peoples world so bad(like the 120x shit)2nd 4 me it is nothing like lsd or mushrooms (not even at the same time). and lets not forget that when u come down it like ur tung tide(mouth shot up with novicane speech).it a mother load all right a mother load of fucked up with no good feelings after.(why is this shit legal? most common phrase spoken after)

I have a great time with Salvia. I like to go for the full level 5 though because that is where it becomes beautiful. You have to go into the other dimensions totally.  Theres an in between where this reality folds over and you can become one with whatever you are sitting in ect...
  I dont like that stage too much and unfortunately thats where most Salvia users find themselves when they smoke it so they wind up hating it and giving up on it.
  The key is to take enough of a dose and then just relax and let go with the flow.  Once this reality folds over there are other beings there that will help you. They take you by the hand and lead you through the other dimensions. They know of this dimension and they are waiting for you to cross over.  It is the single most amazing experience of my life.

After smoking salvia twice in my life and becoming temporarily retarded and freaked on both occasions, I finally gave it one more go the other night and had an incredible breakthrough and a wonderful life altering ride.  I smoked weed about an hour before so i was in a very good state, and then i lay down on a comfortable couch in a dark room and smoked it through a bong.  I was ready for the shock of when it set in and just let myself go. After a few minutes of overwhelming, perspective altering sensations, I left my body and "I" dissolved. "I" was no more. This was something else. THis was a week ago. I have some of this tucked away, Ive drifted to the other side and it was not peaceful it was rough because I fought it, but Its sitting there waiting for when I wanna trip hard.

every salvia trip is a life changing experience and chances are you wont ever forget any of them.

I never really lied salvia. Never bought it a friend had some I thought I would take a hit, I liked it.

Mushrooms an LSD are way better.

5x completely destroys me......to the point where I don't know who or what I am, and the "visuals" are so strong that even if my eyes are open (as attested by a sitter) I can not see anything in this world.

Depends on where you get your salvia, I bought 5x from this site that shipped it from Hawaii....

I bought "Purple sticky salvia" 20x, and it literally was about as strong as the 5x I got. As in, it took the same amount of salvia (as opposed to 4x less) to give me a "breakthrough".

I dont know, I need at LEAST 35x to feel anything now. My first trip was off 20x and every trip after that has just felt like less and less of an experience and more of a sensation of my sides being pulled in opposite directions.

Ive done a fairly good amount of homemade 85x, and got completely lost everytime. I just dont understand how people dislike the experience. Every trip is totally different, and its over before you know it.

I can honestly say that I beleive salvia is not the most intense drug out there. More like "lets have the giggles and fall over a bunch of times" drug.

my fav is unstandardized 10x extracted with ISO alcohol and left a tiny bit wet from the water content. It will be long after the smell of ISO is gone but the extract is still kinda moist.  I have smoked 40x and even tried vaporizing Salvinorin but that 10x is GREAT.
It is very smooth and I can take in HUUUUUUGE lungfulls without coughing it up. It is very tasty also. Perhaps the Salvinorin is more active that way.

  I also like to use revrse tolerance....
    take a small hit and let it out 5 to 10 seconds after. this will get the chemical in you.  wait a half an hour then try the real thing and it will hit you harder that way.

  yeah I don't think Salvia is the "most intense" plant ally  " I don't like to call it a drug".
  theres DMT, Ibogaine and they both compare.  Salvia is my favorite though.

Yea I'm pretty sure most people like salvia in small doses... i here smoking a bowl of it non-extracted is much better than having more potent extracted forms. 

I tried 80x, took 2 hits... holy shit.  I was eating potato chips and began to think I was eating my own lips.  That scared the FUCK out of me.

First time, same thing, but I completely forgot who I was.  I blacked out for a few minuites and my trip partners told me I was crying and muttering something about mail...

my 10x unstandardized moist extract in infinitely smoother than straight leaf. It hits way harder as a result. you can take monster tokes and hold them till you turn blue.  To hit level 5 thats what it takes.
  oh and on the eating your own lips.....  you were at the in between stage where this reality folds over. This sensation can take many forms.... zippers, your body melting, your body splitting down the middle,  the reality around you melting away ect....
    the trick is to get past that point and completely out of your body and into another dimension. Then it is really breathtakingly awesome. you have to bypass the ego loss stage and just let go of everything.  It can be hard though when it seems like you are actually eating your own lips. That stage can be very real feeling and scary as hell but trust me it is different on the other side.

When I smoked my 20x standardized extract I thought I was a broken record player and life was playing on a 5 second repeat cycle. Salvia is some crazy shit.

I'm stuck at that half-way point that you describe. Every time I do it it is the same. It feels as if reality has fractured apart into different layers, like the pages in a book, and I am rolling through them. I feel as if I could just roll all the way back I would be able to enter into her space. I know that makes no sense to someone who hasn't tried it and probably very little even to those who have :lol:.

Every time I do it I can feel a female presence, right behind me, where the pages of the book would meet the binding. She hasn't yet been threatening at all, and the whole experience is never that bad at the time, but I am always reluctant to go back and try to break through.

I smoked salvia on a low dose of L a couple nights ago. That was different. Salvia is ridiculous. It's like smoking infinity. When I smoke salvia all my sensory input repeats ad infinitum. It's crazy.
