one of the scariest moments, realizing your not alone in an empty house
    #10781047 -

so someone was in my house. I was home alone like I have been many times before. I had a horrible feeling, but I do often because I cant stand being home alone. its creepy. I was on my moms chase watching some TV before I went to work. in the room next to me I heard noises. this room is closed off. there are wooden sliding doors in every archway and both entrances to the room were closed. it always is because we don’t want the animals to pee on my moms dresses(she keeps them that room). at first I thought that it was probably one of the cats, someone might have left it open or something. but it still freaked me out so I went to see if the door was open. it was closed. I was a little freaked but I thought that maybe one of the cats got shut in, or it was a mouse or something. then I realized that bobby(cat) was outside and shy shy(other cat) was right next to me. all the dogs were in the kitchen. when I realized this I was walking up the stairs, I stopped to listen for a second wondering if I just imagined the noises. oohhh no. I heard a bunch of banging around, as if someone was tripping over stuff. I fucking booked it. I ran out the back door. well I went to the front of the house and tried to call Ariel. she didn’t answer because she was at work. so I called Jacob(her bf) and told him not to let Ariel inside the house and to either go somewhere with her or stay with her at my house. well as I was talking to him I looked into my house through the front door(its glass). the wooden door was open. now these doors are really heavy, it takes some force to open them and noooo animal, not even a dog can open it. I say a dog because its the biggest animal we have. ruling out any possibility that an animal could have opened it. I was still on the phone with Jacob and said "omg, I have to go im calling 911" I don’t remember if I told him why. as I was trying to call 911 I could hear someone in the house, this is probably when he escaped. so I called the cops and 4 guys came out. they searched the house and found nothing. some things were knocked over in the room and it was obvious to me that someone was in there. the cops stayed for about 45 min searching the house. our house is huge and has millions of hiding spots. they did the best they could. after the cops left reality set it. the first noise I heard was probably the intruder looking at me through the crack of the door. he/she probably came in while I was up stairs trying to take a nap. he/she probably heard me coming down the stairs and went into the darkest most closed off room. after I sat down on the chase he looked to see who it was. in doing this he rattled the door a little bit(the first noise) after I realized I wasn’t alone and took off outside he probably followed right behind me. either going out the front door or a window, or even the same door I went out. the weirdest part is nothing was stolen. nothing was disturbed. either this person was hiding out waiting for someone or was only in the house a few min before I came down stairs. I have never sharked with fear before this. I know this happens all the time around the world, and I was lucky that nothing happen. I guess its just the thought of it. and the fact that I was so clueless until I heard them. god forbid I wouldn’t have noticed anything and Ariel came home. I still went to work and it was definitely the right thing to do. even if the person was still in he house which was a possibility it gave him time to escape. eeeewwwwww. never ever will I stay home alone again. I already hated it, now I just cant, heh. this all happened at about 10:30 last night. im not sure if this is connected but someone called Alexa at Wendy’s two days prier described her and told her to know how to defend herself. its just weird....and the fact that nothing was stolen...I don’t know. anyways LOCK ALL DOORS AND WINDOWS. now im going to be on a safety power trip. oh my.
stay safe everyone.
time to invest in guns. woot woot!

Yea, I didn't even attempt to conquer that wall of text. I always read long posts that are in a decent format though.

me being a proffesional burgler ( i used to break into houses for fun )
what i did was.
knock on the front door a few times
if someone answers ask for a random person and when they say he/she doesnt live here your move on.
if noone answers i go to the back of the house and break a window
thiefs usually break into houses with noone in the house
and being alone is epic shit. you pussy :beetlejuice:

get a weapon, keep one door unlocked... close and lock everything else make sure there's only one point of entry.. wait in a well hidden place near the door set up some type of alarming system to wake you up.. corner the bastard and kill him dead where he stands.. and that's you first kill..

i would love that it would exhilarate me I'd fucking love to kill a intruder/robber/rapist/crazy.. I'd love it because the law is on my side.. have fun

Ravenshield, you can't do shit like that. Many people have guns and if you fucked up once you could've left in a body-bag.

Certainly would have if it was my house
