colored pencil

Heres a picture I drew recently. I got carried away on colors. I need to try to tone my work down some. It looks cool in the dark, with just a little light though. Hope you like:

why tone that down man? let your expression flow and burst out of you just like that guy is releasing what he is? i like to think like that picture and feel like that often. i think its great

In my opinion the color tone and overall usage is magnificent.  There are many emotions flowing through-out your picture.  Your work is impressive.

Wonderful!

Thanks for the compliments. By tone it down, I just think it would make the piece more asthetically pleasing. I drew and colored the mouth first. If you compare it to the rest of the piece it almost seems out of place. I call that piece 'damn my third eye hurts' or something to those effects, heh.

I LIKE the vibrant colors! Keep doing whatever you want, this drawing looks great.

My only sugestion would be to complete the eyes in future pictures.
I think that eyes can really grip a viewers attention.

Thanks, I didn't do anything with the eyes because I liked how the white really stood out against the color. I would have colored them in except I was afraid it might not look as good and didn't want to risk it, plus i got lazy.. also the reason I just colored the background completely black with a sharpie ;p

I browsed all through your sketches. Some nice stuff in there.
