My racial heritage was kept hidden from me!

I've knows since I was a boy that I am 1/16th American Indian. It turns out my great grandmother was half Indian and her maiden name was Moon, I don't know her first name. My grandfather has always refused to tell me or my mother what tribe we're decended from. Now I've decided I need to know. I'm going to get the birth certificate records and to a family tree up that side of my family to find out.

I am a very small percentage of Chalkta(sp?) Indian.  I do not know any more than that. I am a mutt :grin:. You have sparked my interest.  I'm going to start looking through my family tree and see if I can't figure out what I am made of.

On Tv I saw this guy who had the largest collection of lawn gnomes in the world, and he dresses up as a gnome and walks around town!! It was cool to see this 70 year old man so interested in gnomes, walking around town dressed as a gnome and entertaining children.

I personally find Gnomes to be freaky. They almost have a quality of life, as if perhaps some many years ago a soul was trapped inside the concrete. I have a friend who kisses Gnomes, sort of a one-day your prince will come thing I suppose.

Some kids got busted in the suburbs after police ran the plates on a suspicious SUV and traced it to a garage full of garden gnomes. There had been reports throughout the area of missing gnomes. The burglers were caught. Several neighbors came to reclaim their stolen gnomes. Many are still unspoken for. The kids were high-school students. I think they should be publicly humiliated for their crime. Hey man, I did my time for J-walking back in 94.

In a utopian society the Gnomes would be safe from hooligans. Never the less a crime was committed and the only 2 punishments I see as being appropriate for the act are :

a) Community service, going from house to house and painting peoples older Gnomes.

Or

b) Public humiliation, being a courthouse lawn Gnome for 1 week
