Beetle in my bong

A while back this lady in her 50's or 60's gave me a bong that she no longer uses because she doesn't smoke anymore.  Well I have only used it once or twice because it's one of those bongs that have the tiny bowl where the weed sucks through and also because it's one of those bongs where the suck area (?) goes around your mouth, which usually gives me mouth zits.  The bong doesn't even look good.

But anyway, I decided to break it out today for the hell of it, and before I did, I cleaned it out in the sink.  Well I was just about to go smoke with it before I decided to fill it up with water once more and give it a really hard shake, in order to make sure that it was clean.  Well I did and this chunk came out.  Thinking it was weed, I picked it up and inspected it, only to find that it was either a long dead beetle or roach!  GROSS!  Had it been plastered to the inside of the bong for years or had it crawled in there in my apartment.  I did have the bong laying on it's side, but I have never had a roach or beetle problem before.  So who knows. 

Either way........GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  :puke:

No, the hole goes around your mouth.  Now that I think about it, I guess most bongs are like that.  The reason I brought that up about it was because the bong that I've been using since 1999 goes in your mouth.

That's weird, I've never seen a bong that goes in your mouth. I've seen noobs try and put the whole thing in there, but never one that was specifically made for that. :lol:

Does it have a hose, or is it just really small?

It's a Mrs. Buttersworth bottle with a sticker that says Mrs. Buddhasworth.  The top goes in your mouth, which is great for me because again, I get mouth zits from using a regular bong.

Yeah, the bowl comes out right where her hands come together in the front.  Mrs. Buddhasworth is a sweet old girl.  She's on her last leg though.  You can't even see the sticker anymore.  She's mummified in cellophane that I had to wrap around her because of various cracks.  She's basically wearing Depends.  But the water still leaks though the cellophane.  Poor old girl.  I hope she can stay around for a while longer.  I don't want to have to always use the dreaded beetle bong!

I don't know how to drill a stem hole or a carb hole.  And then I don't have the rubber things that go around the inside of the holes.  Plus, Mrs. Buddhasworth has been with me for a long time.  Through the good and the bad.  I can't quit her.  Even if she is senile and wearing Depends.  Especially for beetle bong!

Just heat up a screwdriver, and slowly melt it. You should be able to buy the rubber seals at any decent head shop. You could even work in part of the old Mrs. Buddhasworth into the new one.

That's ok.  I'd rather buy one already made, if I ever come across it again.  Actually, I've seen another Mrs. Buddhasworth, but it was the small size.  I guess that's all you need, but I'd like to keep the same large size, if possible.

Ha, I didn't even sterilize it.  I just washed it out with hot water and went at it.
