satellites
    #10699260 -

are there man-made satellites in space designed to take pictures of other man-made satellites in space? i.e. satellites spying the design of others?

also, i wonder how they're gonna clean up all the space junk/debris up there? rockets with massive nets?

They're going to send up volenteers in space suits with kevlar lacrosse nets picking up space debris. Then they'll have a sing-along around the space campfire.

They're not.

They crash old satellites back into earth's atmosphere and they burn up.

they eventually return themselves

it doesn't take any human interaction for something to get pulled back down by the earth's gravity

Lots of it will be up there for a long time before being pulled in (or escapes).  And you cannot predict for certainty how long a piece of junk will be in orbit because its a chaotic system.

there used to only be like 7000 pieces floating around, but then those 2 satellites crashed into eachother in orbit.......

interesting thing about space, and satellites, while space is massive, most all satellites orbit on the same plane, about 463 miles above earth last i checked.

"in times of widespread chaos and confusion, it has been the duty of more advanced human beings - artists, scientists, clowns, and philosophers - to create order. In such times as ours however, when there is too much order, too much m management, too much programming and control, it becomes the duty of superior men and women and women to fling their favorite monkey wrenches into the machinery. To relieve the repression of the human spirit, they must sow doubt and disruption"
