I use a 32 inch 1080p Sharp TV as my monitor now with a computer I just built.

It was ridiculous for about an hour. Now when I sit down next to something smaller it feels tiny and cramped.

I thought I would need to sit back far from it, but I find myself sitting like 2-3 feet away from it and leaning it just to soak in the glory.

For a computer monitor, it's not really useful to have it bigger once it's 1080p.  My 24" 1080p holds just as much on the screen as any bigger with the same resolution.

My buddy has a 30" 2560x1600 next to a 24" 1980x1200, with Z-5500s, hooked up to THE most ridiculous desktop I've ever seen (SLI GTX285s etc).  THAT is the most amazing setup, along with his super comfy chair, and ergonomic keyboard.

I've got a 22" LCD for my desktop, 15" on my laptop and a 42" LCD TV.

Unless you're using your ginormous 110" monitor for viewing HD movies at 1080p from your computer, I agree with him.

If your TV won't do more than 1920x1080, why hook your computer up to a huge ass screen? Sure it'd be cool to use the computer from the couch, but is it really necessary? If the said 110" TV had a ridiculously high resolution that you could to a ton more with, then I think it'd be worth it.

Exactly.  I have an 105" 1080p projector as well, which is awesome, but for day to day use, I'll take my 24" ANY day.  The big screen for Blu-ray movies + Halo 3 battles = FUCKING FANTASTIC.
