Well, my Copiapoa has been flowering the past few weeks and I finally got around to taking some pics...

So here they are:

I'm definately enjoying the flower show that my little Copiapoa Hypogeae is putting on... Too bad I don't have another Cop. to cross it with, since I don't think they can self pollinate.

Wow man, Beautiful Copiapoa! Ive always wanted a Copiapoa Cinerea, the blue skin with black spines is gorgeous. I love the flowers, I like seeing the more uncommon plants. Nice photos too. Is it true they primarily grow in spring/fall? Ive read that they shut down in the heat. Nice mature specimen, I love the spination. The skin looks hard as rock. Nice plant for sure.

Thanks for all the compliments everyone!

Methadone - Mine usually continues to grow all Summer long, but it only gets morning sun(8a.m. - 12p.m.). I'm sure if I gave it more sun and less water it would have a mid-Summer dormancy period like its wild counterparts...
