Nice cacti man :) I am thinking about buying a new cactus which I believe to be a Peruvian Torch. Its at home depot, so who knows what it really is, it may be a Cerus of some sort. It's got the nice blue-green color that my San Pedro has, and nice yellow-orange spines on it. You seem like a pretty knowlegable guy Una- how many ribs does T. peruvians have, and is there any surefire way to ID them?

Peace out,
-Gumby

Very nice....do you know if the Trichocereus terscheckii, Trichocereus cacndicans, and Trichocereus pasacana have active alkoloids also? If so how so compared to Pedro and the P. Torch?

Adam,
