Sweet man.

You should send me some drum loops to play some keys over.  I couldn't program a good drum loop if life depended on it. 

I was thinking about trying to sample and loop some of those dead drum jams a while back, but never got into it.

Hey stefan,

I'm getting into roots rock stuff (blues, traditional folk, bluegrass, rockabilly etc.) It would be tough to figure out how to make a drum track, though.  You'd need to know the measure splits.  Same goes with country.  Although, if you can make those bluegrass/country double time loops, I can chop it up in Ableton and probably mix up the measures that way. 

I like real samples... especially that gritty stereo mic'd stuff from the 60's and early seventies recordings. 

I have plenty of break beats.

hmmm.  I don't know lol. 

What kind of stuff are you into?

Plenty of shows to go around.  There's a way to stream the soundboard recordings in VLC media player and record it in real time onto your hard drive.  I've never tried it, but I'm fairly certain it would work.
