Not the worst card i have ever seen, but i think they are saving the better match ups for next months 100.

Rich Franklin Vs. Wanderlei Silva:  Sad to say but i am going to say Franklin beats Wanderlei.  Wanderlei i think is like a Chuck. He can still be dangerous against the right guy, but Franklin i think can beat him.

Cheick Kongo Vs. Cain Velasquez: I hope Cain knocks him out cold.

On a side note you see Mirko Cro Cop is back against Mostapha Al Turk .. Will we see Cro Cop knocked out once again?  :rotfl:

I see Franklin winning this one to.
He's to sharp for an aging wanderlei who will be gassed by the second round. But Wanderlei still has a chance, It's not like rich is at the top of his game either.
I guess this fight will be decided by which wanderlei shows up to fight.

As far as Kongo goes, Fuck Kongo I hate this mother fucker. And I hate his fans screaming about a title shot every time he gets 1 win against a can after getting destroyed by middle of the road fighters. Recently I've seen a video where Kongo talks about kicking crocop in the balls on purpose. Maybe that's how they fight in France Idk ....

Speaking of Crocop, I'm really not buying into it. He may have enough to get passed AL Turk but I don't see him as a threat to the division and I think all the hype is coming from the wishful thinking of his fans.

You're getting hype?  I'm hearing more people wish Crocop wouldn't come fight than hoping he makes a run for the belt or something.  He and Wandy should just be fighting in Japan IMO.

yea i guess multiple takedowns, awesome escapes, overall ring domination, and full mounting your opponent and destroying him for the last 30 seconds or so doesn't count for much.    spencer had some good sprawls and landed a couple punches.  strange that it was unaninmous.

I really enjoyed seeing kongo get his shit kicked in.

Franklin/Silva was much better than I expected, Hell of a fight. I've never been a big fan of wandy but after seeing that fight. I got to admit he's still a threat to anyone. Rich fought a smart fight but I do think he underestimated Silva's speed. Good back and forth fight.

Is Silva making a permanent move to middle weight?

I don't really have any faith in judging for UFC's done in foreign countries.  Some of the worst decisions in UFC history have come within the last 2 years outside of America.  I don't know if they use local judges or what but it's appalling.

The crocop fight was so funny. He said he was 100% but the only kick he attempted to throw he feinted and almost fell down from throwing it. Then he got an eye gouge but it looked more like a Sapp orbital bone discomfort shit to me. Crocop definitely throws the closed fist imo.

wanderlei will never be the same man who fought for chute boxe in vale tudo or against malenko, matsui, saku, or rampage etc. Wanderlei needs the athletic aggression of chute boxe.
