Yes. Your tek kicks much ass. It provides a much more airy substrate than the PF tek method. My fruits were much bigger using your tek.

Your tek sounded good so I tried it out. Unfortunately, I used the boiling water method to sterilize, and the jars all got contaminated. I'll do it right next time...

Like I said before, its all I ever use as substrate anymore. I switch it up a little every know and then for variety. But the quinoa is always in the mix. Excellent recipe, Alien. The Lizard,

It sure beats grinding rice in a coffee chopper cuz your local heath food store got snobby and cut back on food in favor of selling pills.

I used the quinoa ground in my last batch, and it produced the biggest and most shrooms I've seen, also, I mixed it with gr birdseed, and such as it goes in your tek, but this time, I was out of quinoa, so I used whole birdseed and such as your tek goes, but without the quinoa, and it isn't colonizing as fast... Oleander------------------ I'm only two people away from having a menage a trois!

Alien... a question for you. What kind of jar sterilization (pressure cooker) specs do you use?In other words, what psi, and for how long do you pressure cook? I've got a pressure cooker now (max 10 psi), and I *really* don't want to screw it up this time!! Thanks.

Sorry. My bad. You already specify this on your site. Since I only go to 10 psi, I'll just cook for an hour.
