My tuition per semester (for this upcoming semester): $4,025

For a room: 3 grand.
Out of state: 8 grand.
Food: 1,500.

In other words, stop bitching.

I'm sure the president (an ex senator) would like to think so.

But he dumps all the money into building new buildings, and not enough into tenure for good professors, and not enough into the programs we have.

I have a demotivational semi-related to this conversation. The way they see it is why give a shit about the profs, if the university has a nice lawn the place looks more respectable.

I'm doing Applied Science (Biochem/Org Chem).

Sometimes it gets hard, but really it's just information and given enough time and effort nearly anyone can learn.

I got pwned by Civil Engineering, that was too much for me.

My undergraduate school would be ~ $18K a semester now, just in tuition.  What a fucking ripoff!

What really pisses me off is that you can't discharge student loans in bankruptcy.  That means I can max out all of my credit cards buying flat screen tv's, file bankruptcy, keep the tv's, wait 7 years and do it all over again.  Student loan debt will haunt you for life.

The state of ca dept of rehab is paying for 2 years of a jc and 2 years of and cal state school i want to go to because i have a small learning disability and stayed current with all my paper work

Tuition, for me, was a little more than $17,000 per semester, so it was around $34,000 for the whole year.  I'm sure it has gone up as I graduated two years ago.

You're telling me.  However, I think that's pretty average for a private law school.

My undergrad was around the same price also.

About $7,500 dollars. Keep in mind we do "quarters" here so I pay that three times.

Not only is in-state tuition far cheaper but California is known for having low in-state costs.
