Central FL expedition
    #10423960 -

G'morning everyone!

Due to my lack of luck searching these patches of land (So. FL) I decided to put together a little expedition up to the north central part of the country.  Hopefully I'll be coming back with lots of pics and good tidings..  I have a question though, the particular area I have looked into reunites all the factors conducive to a good harvest, except I'm dubious about the rain.  Although last week the area got consistently high precipitation (over one inch), this week has been a bit less..(last three days staying under .42 inches but not going below .25 in the past few days).  Also, the humidity has not gone below 80 in the past few days which i imagine is very good.  Today is forecast to be sunny with a slight chance of rain so that's why I picked it. It's a three hour drive and I'm just wondering if that would make it unlikely for me to find anything, in which case i'll wait.
happy hunting to all and sorry for the lenghty post, just makin sure !

I hunt about 2 hours north of where your planning to hunt (general area), in North Central Florida.

We've went 3 days with no rain now, went hunting last night and came up empty handed.  Although several of the fields i checked 2 days prior, did have some actives growing, it looks as if the farmers have beaten us to the patties.

But i would have to agree with the previous, not worth it yet.  Just not enough on the ground, probably another month or so, and we'll be popping big time.
