Psilocybin Mushrooms Legal In Canada? * 1

Does anyone know if Psilocybin mushrooms are legal in Canada? From what I can gather it is only "dried" mushrooms that are illegal to posses. Does this mean I can legally grow these mushrooms with no problems from "The Man?"

On this very site there is a chart that states you can have fresh mushrooms, spores and even mycelium culture and it is legal. Nothing is wrong dude, I just think there is more to it than that. There has got to be some legal loophole to take advantage of.

Not really related to the original topic, but more of a curiosity:

If you were caught picking in a field by the law and you had a bag of active mushrooms, what would actually happen? Would they just search you, take the mushrooms and let you go? or would they actually arrest you for possession of schedule 1 drugs?

well if you had a large amount it would be hard to say you didn't know what they were but if it was one or two it may be different, under Florida's law anyway, but I'm just guessing.

Well, in Canada Psilocybin mushrooms are considered a schedule 3 drug. Cannabis can actually get you in more trouble (If you can believe that) since it is considered a schedule 2 drug. And then there are schedule 1 drugs like heroin and cocaine. That's a funny situation about picking wild mushrooms. The law of nature says we can have them, yet man made law says we can't, even though it has been proven that it is physically impossible to overdose on Psilocybin mushrooms. You would have to consume your entire body weight worth of shrooms at once to overdose. For me that's 175 pounds! I did 4 grams once and there was no way I was taking anymore!

but remember just because it's legal to possess fresh mushrooms does not make it legal to cultivate them which seemed like your original question

Oh yes it was, and still is! There are people making a killing off of spore prints and syringes... legally. What I want to know is how these people are producing these products without producing psilocybin mushrooms. Is it legal to grow if it is for the purpose of collecting spores for a legitimate business?

Don't get me started on cannabis seeds! What the fuck is really going on? These laws are very vauge yet they will throw your ass in jail where you risk getting beaten, raped or infected with hep.C and HIV. These people need to get the story straight before they ruin peoples lives for taking some soft, non-addictive drugs.
