Flavoring FUNgi

After dosing on a few of our friends last night, I had an idea. I am one that just cant stand the taste of these things. Now, my idea is simple. I know that you can add flavor to marijuana plants with sugar free flavorings. Now, why couldnt you do the same with substrates? I think vanilla extracts might be a good start. Anyways, what do you guys think?

its been thought of but since fungi are not plants it does not work

just dice em up in into a small amount of melted chocolate, its just like marshmallow

Has this been tried before?  Maybe it doesn't work to add directly to the sub, but has anyone tried making a flavoring solution, misting it on the mushies, then drying?

No, we just use capsules or extract.

But has it actually been tested? If the water the substrate is created with is flavored, and mushrooms are 90% water, where would the flavor go?

mushrooms dont work like plants do.
it wont work.
just flavor them after drying.
or gel cap them.
or anything else really.
