It'll save you power if you do.
The TV draws 'ghost power', which can be a lot if it's a bigger model.

You make it all possible. Doesn't it feel good?

if you turn it off, it may disable the "surge" feature of the device, you should unplug anything from the wall you are not using, you'll save a few bucks each month

I don't know which model you have.

One of mine has a primary attachment plug (my PC), that when turned on, allows the opportunity to turn on all of my peripherals. They don't draw necessary power as the feature makes them "unplugged" unless the primary unit is on.

Same goes for the TV - when it goes on, so does the opportunity to turn on the DVD, the box, the Roku, Xbox, and speakers. Can't turn those on without the TV being on, and they also don't draw unnecessary power.

Make sure to register it as well, they absolutely guarantee everything you own that's hooked up to it. If shit goes sour, don't touch it all and put in your claim. The warranty guy just told me to put in "PC, printers, speakers and peripherals".

I definitely listed every exact item for the TV surge protector tho... make/model price etc.

you were not supposed to throw away money at monster branded merchandise to begin with, but since you did, i see no reason to worry about phantom power loss.

peace

A friend works at Best Buy and they're $12 for the PC/reg ones and $15 for the TV ones. :awesome:

Fuck that $100-$150 noise.
