Obama will probably veto it. IMO Obama does not believe taxpayers should have a right to know where our money is being spent....

and can someone explain to me why we borrow money (that they do not have) from the FED (private bank) and then taxpayers pay interest to the FED when the government could just print the money themselves and not have the taxpayers pay INTEREST on the money we were forced to give to the fed?

I'm confused?

I disagree.  I'd be really surprised if he vetoed this.

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

Just a couple years ago it was: "Federal reserve, what's that", "What do you mean the Federal reserve isn't part of the federal government", and "Huh, I don't get what you mean, of course the money is backed by gold whats all that stuff in Fort Knox for???"

Yeah, people know what's up.

H.R.1207 is a huge monkey wrench thrown into the machinations of the world central banker cartel.  Wars are won and lost on logistics.  If the power hungry ass-hats can't fund their mad scheme of world domination they lost!

If the Fed is as powerful as you say and politicians are in their pockets what makes you think this bill is anything but window dressing?

The bill will call full audit of the federal reserve before 2010.  Politicians still need to run for office so they can not vote against it when it has so much popular support.

The bill was written by Ron Paul, who has been trying to get rid of the illegal banking cartel for decades.  I hardly think he's a government disinfo. agent.  He has tried to straight up abolish the federal reserve before.  He changed his tactic and decided it was necessary to start with information disclosure.  Look up when Dr. Paul was asking Bernanke which banking institutions received 2.2 trillion dollars.  Bernanke refused to give him that information.  Congressman Paul responded with H.R.1207.

71 more cosponsors will guarantee passage in the house.
Some politicians are corrupt and side with the central banker terrorists.  Many others are just woefully ignorant on the subject of constitutional monetary policy.

Education of the people and politicians is the cure to America's financial problems.

Ron Paul is an impressive tactician .  Monetary policy is his highest concern.  I hardly think he will write up "window dressing" with anything dealing directly with the federal reserve!

have you seen this?

Is Anyone Minding the Store at the Federal Reserve?

Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL) asks the Federal Reserve Inspector General about the trillions of dollars lent or spent by the Federal Reserve and where it went, and the trillions of off balance sheet obligations. Inspector General Elizabeth Coleman responds that the IG does not know and is not tracking where this money is.

"100% of what is collected is absorbed solely by interest on the Federal Debt … all individual income tax revenues are gone before one nickel is spent on the services taxpayers expect from government.”
-Grace Commission report submitted to President Ronald Reagan - January 15, 1984

is that true? that all our income tax money goes to pay interest on a bogus debt to the Private Federal Reserve (FED), just to allow paper money to circulate as “Federal Reserve Notes”?

I don't know about the amounts, but more or less, yes.  Oddly, the two presidents that tried to stop this were both assassinated.

Paul asked Bernanke where the 2.2 trillion went.  Bernanke said he wasn't going to tell him.  H.R.1207 will fix that part at least.  I think H.R.1207 is the first piece of legislation moving towards sound money.  There's probably more to follow.  For a long time no one even attempted to question them.

Yeah.  Presidents have been shot whenever they attempt to challenge the present monetary system.

Executive order 11110 might have been part of what triggered the Kennedy assassination.

hah

i think what paul is doing is a great step forward. all it is after all is an audit. if everything is as squeaky clean as we have been led to believe then an audit should be nothing. if i can quote every highway patrolman:"you dont need to worry if you dont have nuthin to hide".

A list of shareholders would be quite interesting, any speculations?

The above part is what annoys me.  I wish they would have made it every couple of years rather than just one year.  If we are going to push real change, then make it last, please.
