at a crossroads

Evenin. So I'm at an interesting crossroads right now..my girlfriend of nearly one year is likely to be leaving for babson in boston, MA and meanwhile my interest in the area I live in is significantly declining (that or my sense of adventure and need to explore and roam is growing). My girlfriend wants to me to ideally head with her and I'm legitimately worried she'll have a very hard time getting over this to the point it will distract her endlessly and I won't be there to help :sad: I understand to love another we must love ourselves but part of her is me and part of me is most definitely from her. Enough cliches and rhetorical garbage. I digress.

I'm not very attached here (native of the greater Seattle area) I love my friends and family and the area (not the weather usually, summer being the exception) but I've been here most of my life and I'm over it same scenes over and over rehashing themselves endlessly. I've been floating around the area (my parents live a good hour away) from friends house to friends house to short lease to short lease to job to job and job after dead fucking end job. I'm done with this. Part of me wants to get into nomad mode or head up to alaska and go work on a boat for the summer or longer just to get away and bust my ass and make some money. I really welcome and encourage advice please guys any input would be helpful. College feels meaningless I just need to revitalize my soul and clear my mind right now.

Because, any man who thinks that It is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all has never tried it. You'll miss her, more than you'll miss you'll town, you'd miss her more than anything.

Go with her, if you stay there you just had an ending. If you go with her it could be a beginning.

thanks for the advice fellas. it's too quick to make a decision right away but feedback is good to make sure i have tried out different ideas as well. i feel like it couldn't hurt to hit up the boat for 3 months though and come back to her with some cash in the bank ready to start a new life then.
