What was your favorite NES game?

Please NES games only, none of that super high tech SNES shit!

When it all comes down to it I think my favorite had to be Milon's Secret Castle, a game some might remember, much more popular in Japan than the states but got a big cult following in the US.

the original Zelda was awesome, the only thing i didnt like was the fact that there wasnt a whole lot of interaction yet.  Made it much harder to figure out where to go and wtf to do.  But I did beat the game non the less :vaped:

Edit:  I forgot about Battletoads.  Battletoads is my favorite, followed by:

Super Mario 3

Ninja Gaiden 2

Ironsword: Wizards and Warriors 2

Amen to that. A few years ago I pawned my original NES and games for coke money...womp womp. Good times tho, REAL good times on the NES and the coke lmao. Some other games I remember, Hogan's Alley (a shooting game, LOVED that light gun!), Super Mario Bros 2 (my fav of the 3), Contra!!!!! my older brother had a couple of baseball games that were great too, MVP baseball was one of them if i recall..There was this one side scroller shooter I loved, I dont remember the name but you land on a planet, and the planet itself is sort of a living things, composed of flesh and guts,first level boss is a zombie hound with a gun on its back and you make your way deeper and deeper inside the planet? Ring any bells?
