What!!!! (swine flu)

i know there are a few threads on this including one with 42 pages. can anyone update me real quick so i dont have to spend 4 hours reading the shit.

i know its pretty bad and its spreading and getting worse, but how bad is it going to get? should we all be more worried then what we are? its a fucking level 4 for christ sakes!

You won't die.
People die from the flu because they get dehydrated from vomiting and diarrhea and don't seek medical attention. If you get flu symptoms, and they last longer than 3 days, go to a hospital and get IV fluids.

Every year thousands and thousands of people die in the US from ordinary influenza. totally preventable in 99% of cases.

There's no cure for the flu, but a flu shot may offer some protection against this strain (not full protection). If you have had a flu shot in the last year, that reduces- but does not eliminate- your risk.

Chill out man, it really is like most other flus, so far as I know there haven't been any deaths in the states, that's because you have better health care down there than mexico does, if your kid gets flu symptoms you take him to a doctor, it's simple.

the huge thread is 42 pages of the same people saying the same thing over and over again.  Thsi flu has the potential to get bad, but more than likely it wont.

its kind of like a mushroom trip, only the entire world is the subconscious mind.  :stoned2:

we just chowed em down about 20 minutes ago and we are now recognizing that we are about to trip hard as fuck. it will get more intense faster and faster until shit is just so crazy, "normal" life is a distant dream.

although here with a mushroom trip we start to come down.

if it has developed to  be non-cyclic will our medical technology develop fast enough to overcome the flu? or is there a chance that it will evolve faster and more dangerously than us and the come down only comes when our own species becomes endangered?
