psytribe festival - impulse - san luis ray river

I had an amazing two day festival experience this past weekend in the mountiains of la jolla. The location was amazing. Trees everywhere! A river runs through the location and we were able to camp peacefully within the woods. The best part about this location is that its tucked away in between mountains and at night, the stars shine so bright your able to see the edge of our galaxy running across the sky. Mix this amazing visual while rolling is a pretty damn spiritual experience. not only to mention that there was amazing amount of psy trance and down tempo music blasting away in the forest on two different stages for 48 hours. The Surrounding trees were also lit at night to give you a feeling that you were in another world. It was a bit cold but it never phased me one bit!

During the day was very spiritual for me. I was able to find a small island in the middle of the river and was able to rock hop to it and established that this rock was my meditating spot for the day. I sat there closed my eyes and let the energy of the river take over me and litereally cleanse my spirit away and let it wash the bad energy down stream. It was an amazing experience that was shared by a beautiful young lady that i met who was sitting below me in the rock who was also meditating with me. We didnt meet at that exact moment but we actually ran into one another towards the end of the festival and ended up hanging out for a bit at my campsite. she told me "wasnt it good meditating together in the river earlier.." and definitely put a smile on my face. great friends. great experiences. cant wait to do it again in malibu,ca in may 09!!!!

yes!!! it was very amazing i can't wait to go back there again. Im anxious to see how the one next month will be. i hope the stars will be just as bright.
