i couldn't comment, as i've never thumbprinted. i'm sure they are ultimately completely different animals.

my experience with high dose lsd does not however remind me of DMT.

I have not been thumbprinted but i expect this would be very different, but have taken DMT and ayahuasca...

I think would be very different. Although they both produce ego dissolution and tap the user into "cosmic consciousness" - i think DMT space is nonmaterial parallel reality with energy essence beings which tap into you + somehow often influence your life at later times.

LSD is purely psychological and produces extreme changes in the users consciousness.

DMT - going beyond yourself.
LSD - going into yourself.

Sure - seeing outside yourself often produces life changing results - but like Canid said - they are different animals completely.

my big high dose lsd experience was extremely lsd like, but very dissociative. i.e. i was dosed without my knowledge, and never once did it occur to me to question the fact that my sanity was being swallowed, nor to realize i had been dosed.

other than that, it was all pretty lsd like. i was still participating in a distorted version of the consensus world [to use the term lightly].

I definitely haven't done anywhere near a thumbprint but I have been puddled with at least a quarter vile of really strong lsd (which is probably a whoooole lot different than a thumbprint). I've also broken through on DMT 25-30 times.

What makes you ask?

I guess I'd say there are some similarities visually, but beyond that it's such a different experience. I'd say the sense of time (or lack thereof) is similar. It's hard to describe the similarities or the differences because both of them are hard to describe in their own right.

Eating that much lsd for me, was very panic-y and a lot of the visuals were super-imposed over the real scenery (real scenery like trees, streets, houses). I did at a few points have my complete visual field either blank out or be filled with colorful phenomena.

I'm getting no where in writing this though, it's not an easy feat to answer your questions! I hope you find what you're looking for! :mushroom2:

im surprised at how few people on this forum have been thumbprinted before and actually tell us.

i would expect some people to be lying about having taken a thumbprint, but even if no one ever lied its still weird there aren't more.

i have not done it myself, but a good friend of mine has and i've met several who claim that they have.

i can only imagine, but from my very limited experience i am sure that different substances are nothing alike. there probably are similarities, but very unique to the substance. maybe only similar because in order to compare they must be "simplified" (i guess lol?) and they may have some effects that from a more simple point of view are similar.

just a guess though, i haven't done DMT yet, but i've done acid and other psychedelics
