pop up preview pane enhancements

hey man, its me again.

i dont mean to waste yer precious time, but it would be cool if the pop preview pane had arrows to go to the next post, but also first and last.  that would make the "view first unread post in preview" or whatever option alot better IMO.  i normally like to see the first unread, but a < | << | >> > sort of system would be swell.

I have logged in this once so that I can set the "last seen" feature up.  let the faggots flow forth into OTD and have it.  Its funny how they all grew nuts after I left.  I'm not here, I'm not reading, but I urge you all to keep melting down over me.  I know, I hurt alot of people, and they deserved it.  epic win for me, epic fail for you. 

ythan, you rock dude.  i feel that my time at the shroomery was very positive and enjoyable, but this site is no longer for me. im not mad or upset or disappointed, i just want no part in a pg rated faggot festival.

also, it would be cool if it would show the numbers of the anonymous posters on the top, instead of just "By Anonymous(x hours ago)"

Nice! I just noticed this, and it reminded me of something else I've been meaning to suggest.

I find it kinda annoying when I'm clicking through the preview pane and I come across a post that's larger than the pane, so a scrollbar appears, moving the arrow to the left so it's no longer right under the mouse cursor. It means I need to keep moving the mouse depending on if the scrollbar is there or not. And yes I know that the hit-box extends to the left further, but I keep forgetting that. It's not particularly intuitive.

Anyway my suggestion is to force the scrollbar to always be there, even if the post is short. This would keep the arrow in a fixed position. I think there's a CSS property to do that?

It might not look as 'elegant' though. But on the other hand, most posts require the scroll bar anyway, so it may as well always be present for consistency.
