anyone heading to the Nimbin mardigrass this year? is it worth getting a group of friends and heading up? :smile:

Ive often wanted to mate,

Having never been to Nimbin and being quite close (Gold Coast),
I am yet to experience what people rave about.

I do hear some bad things though.

Have you ever been out of Mardigrass time?

Well I've always had this awesome picture in my head of like friendly old hippies selling you cookies and pot,

but some people say its like really shady and kinda seedy crusing around empty streets scouting for weed

Been there and didn't like it. If I were you I'd skip it.

Too many junkies and kids pushing drugs on the street.

Almost got my car broken into when I was there. Got back to my car just in time.

This is what appeals to me. the only reason I would go to Nimbin is to easily score.

Go for it then.

When I walked along the main street I was offered weed a couple of times.
Don't like buying my dope on the street tho. Quality is usually very low and you will get ripped of most of the time.
