I'm having the same problem. Had some special brownies earlier in the day and there's still no sign of sleepiness.

Detox!
Get one of those cheapo detox teas/drinks form the healthfood store and some antioxidant capsules. Drink alot of water and juice, piss alot. Do that for about a day or two (you actually feel the stuff as it leaves your system too!) Then you will get high as hell afterwards.

the detox method is acctually quite effective, ive used it for probation and just this purpose as well. Take 2 days off, drink lots of fluids (gatorade, water, tea) or anything with an assload of anti-oxidants in it, blueberry's are amazing in that area... and head down to your local headshop. Ask if they have any detox drinks and they should lead you in the right direction. I personally use Royal Flush brand Stat Detox Beverage. Passed DT's in 45 minutes with it. Drink that piss it out, smoke 2 days later, get high as fuck....easily done. And coaster, detoxing really has no detrimental effects on the body. Other than the added leves of Vitamin B and Kreatine its bassically just juice with psyllum husks ground into it.

Do you hammer nails into wood with a screwdriver? Neither weed nor tranqs are any good for insomnia (same goes for benzos); Melatonin, Ambien or in extreme cases Chloral Hydrate (which was what I was given to make me lose consciousness during detox). For some people certain anti-histamines (diphenhydramine and hydroxazine to name two) have proven efficacious. Best of luck.
