I'm already feeling it, I can't see how people don't seem to get effects. It's nice, not overwhelming but nice and far from being placebo.

Well that ended up being not very good. I got nauseous and was really depressed there for awhile...

Not sure why, that was a bit overwhelming with the depression part.

thats a good question... I got that 50X exctract, its like a yellowish, powdery putty. What are some good ways to prepare it?

stick it in a capsule or just lick it off a knife or something. It tastes bad and makes your tongue numb though.

if you have the kava root powder stick it in a blender with water or and add some oil or lecithin. Blend for awhile, strain, squeeze out the mush through a cloth, and drink. Tastes nasty and numbs your tongue. I like the Vanuatu kava myself. At least before I got hooked on xanax.

If you drink alot it makes you very sedated and mildly euphoric.

dont use the extract, PERIOD.
ive tried many of them, the yellow ones are the worst, never been so sick in my life.

How so? The blender and lecithin do all the emulsifying work (traditionally done by manually working the powder in water or chewing the fresh root). As long as you squeeze the pulp dry, that method is easier than any other I know, and just as effective.

I once got Kava Kava capsules from a 99cent store and it really wasn't what I thought it would be, it was a long time ago in High School but I doubt 99cent stores carry quality Kava lol.

kava capsules suck

and you dont need to mix oils with kava to have it work effectively, those extractions just taste fuckin nasty compared to the traditional ways

also the extracts are EXTREMELY salty, kava itself is pretty salty(funny for a pepper plant), you want all that extra water during preparation

and drinking root powder (if you do) totally irritates the lining of your stomach, much like morning glory seeds, it can cause bleeding etc

Ya, I think it just irritated my stomach. I ate some of the powder thinking it would uh, be more potent.


Mistake... Still I'm not eager to try this stuff again in any form.
