not to mention the best part of 100 smaller cacti :crankey:

yeah so anyone who is putting their cacti into dormancy for the winter, try to keep it between 5c & 10c (40 - 50f)
if it's short term, then don't worry about it so much.

I have an indoor area that i use to grow plants/make seed for my seed company, i put my cacti in there in the colder months, its kinda humid but stays around 65-75 degrees depending on how many fans are on.

thats why i wont put any of my pedros in the ground out here, im to scared of losing them.

Thats the one downside of growing plants that are exotic to our own environment. We want more and more cacti, but can easily obtain more than we can handle. This is part of the reason I moved to texas, I could no longer bring 30+ plants into my house during the winter

aint that the truth, i had more cacti than i had winter places for.
i was hoping to get the greenhouse fully operational in time, but it never happened and this is the consequence.
i was going to take some shots of the graveyard but i couldn't do it...
